Assel S. Alwaqza, DDS

Dr. Alwaqza completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency as Chief Resident at St. Joseph’s University Medical

Center, where he received advanced training in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, pathology, TMJ disorders, reconstructive surgery, and anesthesia.

A graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Alwaqza graduated first in his class and has placed more than 500 dental implants. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care and is passionate about creating an exceptional experience for every patient.

While Dr. Alwaqza brings impressive clinical skill and training to our practice, he also benefits from the collaboration and mentorship of one of New Jersey’s most respected oral surgery groups.
