Dr. Daniel Diaz was born and raised in Brick, New Jersey. Upon obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Diaz went on to NYU College of Dentistry where he completed his dental training and received his DDS degree. He would go on to complete a one-year general practice residency at Jamaica Hospital Center in Queens, New York before starting his training at Harlem Hospital Center. Dr. Diaz completed a one-year internship at Harlem Hospital in oral and maxillofacial surgery and was accepted into the four-year program. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Diaz’s bilingual abilities were a significant advantage while treating the diverse communities of Manhattan as well as his participation on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Diaz strives for excellence which is exhibited in his attention to detail and superior care when treating patients. He persists to learn by attending continuing education courses on dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, TMJ surgery, orthognathic surgery, and cosmetics. His priority is to stay on top of cutting-edge technology in the field while providing the best care to his patients. He is currently a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Hispanic Dental Association, and the International Association of Dental Specialists.

Dr. Diaz loves spending time at the Jersey Shore with friends and family for relaxation. He is a lifelong Mets fan and remains active while participating in sports and exercise. His great sense of humor and stand-up act has won him first prize at Laughing Bhudda in Manhattan. Dr. Diaz looks forward to meeting you and providing the highest quality of care to his patients!
