Marie F. Woke, DMD
Meet Dr. Woke
Dr. Marie Woke was born and raised in New Jersey where she attended Rutgers University for her undergraduate study in Biological Sciences and Psychology. She spent the next four years at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (formerly UMDNJ), following in the footsteps of her mother and working toward her DMD degree. After graduating dental school, she moved to the shore where she completed a one-year GPR at The Jersey Shore University Medical Center and spent most of her time in the operating room with her attendings repairing complex facial trauma. With invigorated passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery she headed back to her roots to begin a one-year internship at Rutgers OMFS. She was also accepted into the 4-year program and completed her residency at Rutgers OMFS.
During her time at Rutgers OMFS she had the opportunity to take part in various medical mission trips, notably to Bangladesh for the repair of cleft lips and palates, and to Haiti for dentoalveolar surgery. Her passion in oral & maxillofacial surgery is facial cosmetics, both surgical and non-surgical. She loves helping her patients feel rejuvenated and confident. This great attention to detail and excitement for the field is the backbone of how she practices.
Dr. Woke is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons.
Marie has an extensive list of continuing education seminars and courses she attended ranging from TMJ, Cosmetics, Implants, Pathology, and Trauma in combination with her studies during residency to provide the most up-to-date treatment for her patients. In her free time she enjoys cooking, traveling, and visiting the shore. Dr. Woke joined the practice in 2018 and is looking forward to meeting you.
